The Confucius Institute at UC Davis is pleased to announce two special events!
First....only a couple dozen tickets remaining! This winter quarter, master chef and UC Davis distinguished alumnus Martin Yan is returning to the UC Davis campus in 2019 to offer “Chinese Food and Wine Pairing Competition.” This special event will feature tastings of at least seven classic Chinese dishes paired with selected wines recommended by two experts, Dr. Andrew Waterhouse, Executive Director of Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science, and Mr. Mike Dunne, wine columnist for the Sacramento Bee.
Vote for your favorite wines! Guests will select the best food-wine combination in a friendly competition between those offered by our two wine experts.

Submissions are due no later than April 8, 2019, and the on-site cooking competition for the finalists, followed by the awards ceremony and gala dinner, will be held on May 25, 2019, at the Robert Mondavi Institute on campus.
Get your utensils and ingredients ready now and start cooking! You could be our $1,000 grand prize winner!
